This Privacy Policy explains how Greenskeeper (“Greenskeeper,” “the App,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, stores, and discloses information when you use the Greenskeeper iOS application and related premium subscription features branded as Greenskeeper+.
Greenskeeper is designed to work without a developer-hosted account. Most content you create in the app is stored on your device and, if you enable backup features, in your personal iCloud account through Apple’s services. We also use third-party services for subscription management and advertising measurement, including RevenueCat and TikTok App Events.
Depending on which features you use, Greenskeeper may process or disclose user-generated content, photos, precise location, subscription and purchase information, device identifiers, and product interaction data. We do not sell your personal information for money, but we may share limited data with service providers and advertising/measurement partners as described below.
We do not require you to create an account with us, and we do not collect your name, email address, mailing address, or payment card number through our own servers.
Depending on how you use the app, Greenskeeper may collect, access, store, or share the following categories of information:
Greenskeeper stores user-generated content locally on your Apple device so the app can function. Local device storage is under your control and may remain on your device until you delete the app or remove that content.
Greenskeeper may request access to the following device capabilities:
If you deny photo or location access, Greenskeeper will continue to work with reduced functionality. If you deny tracking permission, TikTok may still receive non-IDFA device and event data, but IDFA-based tracking and attribution will be limited or unavailable.
If you enable backup or restore features, Greenskeeper may save files to your personal iCloud account using Apple’s iCloud services. This storage is provided by Apple and is controlled by your Apple ID and Apple account settings.
Backup files may include course records, dates, notes, ratings, scores, photos, badge configuration data, and associated location information. We do not receive or maintain a separate copy of those backup files on our own servers. Availability of iCloud features depends on your device settings, Apple account status, and Apple’s services.
Greenskeeper offers optional auto-renewing subscriptions through Apple’s In-App Purchase system under the Greenskeeper+ name. All billing, payment processing, renewal handling, and cancellation controls are managed by Apple. We do not collect or store your full payment card details or Apple account credentials.
We use RevenueCat to manage subscription status and entitlement logic. RevenueCat may receive purchase history and subscription-related information, such as product identifiers, purchase status, renewal state, expiration information, and entitlement status, so Greenskeeper can determine whether premium features should be available in the app.
Greenskeeper uses the TikTok App Events SDK for app event measurement, campaign attribution, install/open reporting, purchase event reporting, and related advertising and analytics functionality.
Depending on your permissions, device settings, and TikTok SDK configuration, TikTok may receive event and device data such as app launches, installs, retention events, purchase events, product identifiers, purchase value and currency, device model, app version, operating system version, locale, IP address, user agent, IDFV, and, if authorized under Apple’s App Tracking Transparency framework, IDFA.
TikTok’s SDK may also support enhanced interaction measurement features that collect screen, page, component, and UI interaction metadata to help with analytics, debugging, and advertising measurement. Where enabled, this may include screen names, view hierarchy metadata, button interaction metadata, and associated app context.
We do not sell your personal information for money. However, certain disclosures to advertising and attribution partners such as TikTok may be considered “sharing,” “tracking,” or use for “developer advertising or marketing” under some privacy laws and platform rules.
We may disclose information to the following categories of third parties:
We do not otherwise sell, rent, or disclose personal information to third parties for their own independent marketing purposes.
Because Greenskeeper does not maintain most user content on developer-controlled servers, retention is generally determined by your device, your iCloud account, and your own actions. Data stored locally may remain until deleted from the app or until the app is removed. Data stored in iCloud may remain until removed from your iCloud account or overwritten by later backups. Data handled by Apple, RevenueCat, or TikTok is subject to those providers’ retention practices and policies.
If applicable under your jurisdiction, you may also contact us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of information we control, although in many cases Greenskeeper stores content only on your device or in your personal Apple account.
Greenskeeper is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children through developer-controlled systems.
The Colorado Privacy Act (“CPA”) applies to certain businesses that meet statutory thresholds. Greenskeeper is not designed to sell personal data for money, but certain disclosures to analytics or advertising attribution partners may qualify as targeted advertising or similar regulated processing depending on how applicable law is interpreted.
If the CPA applies to Greenskeeper now or in the future, Colorado residents may have rights under applicable law, including rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a portable copy of personal data, and rights to opt out of certain processing such as targeted advertising. Because Greenskeeper does not maintain traditional developer-hosted user accounts, many requests may be limited to data held by our service providers or data under your own device and Apple account control.
Colorado residents may contact us using the information below with any privacy request or question.
Greenskeeper does not sell personal information for money. However, because Greenskeeper uses TikTok App Events for attribution and advertising measurement, some data disclosures may be considered “sharing” or use for cross-context behavioral advertising under the CCPA/CPRA. California residents may contact us to exercise applicable privacy rights.
Greenskeeper is offered through Apple’s App Store and may be downloaded in multiple regions. If you use the app outside the United States, you understand that Apple, RevenueCat, TikTok, and other service providers may process information in the United States or other countries where they operate, subject to their own systems and policies.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the updated version at this page and update the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of Greenskeeper after an updated policy becomes effective means you acknowledge the updated policy.
